COMSOL Simulation of Action Potential Propagation

A computational finite-element simulation of nerve axon excitability based on the FitzHugh-Nagumo (FHN) reaction-diffusion PDE system coupled to extracellular electrostatics. Features 3D tetrahedral meshing, autonomous wavefront propagation, and periodic pulse train stimulation with refractory period limits.
